A poem a week for 2012 - A record of a year in the life of...

Lycanthropy

Perigee Moon smiles
bewitchingly as tiny sparks
of light break brilliance out of deep
blackness. Against a velvet blanket,
vast oceans of universe boldly lighted
by silver flames, tantalisingly
beyond reach - larger than life;
entice
eruptions; cause havocs
yet uncounted - tidal monsters -
stirring magnetised from light- years off...
While,  on the other side of the glass, we
remain static, howling on the inside reach
 for the cacophony waving over drowning
 dreams. The man in the moon does
not answer ...yet.
